UART 包含一个 IrDA 串行红外（SIR）编码器/ 解码器模块。IrDA SIR 模块的作用是在异步UART数据流和半双工串行SIR 接口之间进行转换。UART 信号管脚可以和一个红外收发器连接以实现IrDA SIR连接。
