DRV8245-Q1: Recommendations for Configuring VM Pin Inductance and Capacitance for a Motor with 4A Continuous Current and 20A Inrush Current

Part Number: DRV8245-Q1

Dear TI Experts,

I am designing a motor drive system using a TI motor driver (e.g., DRV8245-Q1) to control a DC motor. The motor has a continuous operating current of 4A, but experiences a high inrush current of up to 20A during startup. I would appreciate your guidance on how to properly configure the inductance and capacitance on the VM power supply pin to ensure stable operation, avoid voltage droops, false overcurrent protection (OCP) triggering, or potential device damage.
