hi,

I want to conduct this experiment 1 alone and check the PWM waveform. How should I proceed?

However, after I built it and debugged it, no open-loop PWM waveform was displayed on the oscilloscope (there was no high-voltage power supply).

Hi ,

Did you wait until the "TTPLPFC_autoStartSlew" reach 100 counter in the expression window. If you don't want to wait you can enter 99.

Why is it necessary to verify the inverter mode in the open-loop control of the PFC, rather than the input AC voltage?

Hi,

DC check = 1 is to verify the PWM operation in +ve half cycle of AC. It's just a verification step to make sure PWMs generated appropriately for both positive and negative half cycles of AC.

labs 1-4 all used AC alternating current to verify something, right? But according to the manual, it seems to be about direct current.

Hi,

Not exactly. Lab1 and Lab2 are with DC input. This is part of step by step procedure primarily to verify the boost operation in open loop mode. And, one can design their compensator with DC input as mentioned in Lab 2 of design guide.

But if some one is running a fully tested HW with out making any changes to the software available in DPSDK may start with Lab3 with AC input.
