About TPS61088 input voltage questions

Dear engineer:

We will use this chip max input voltage about 13.2V.so a bit worry this point.

We have the following questions please help solve:

  1. After the test we do before, we find when the input is higher than 12V, the output will have a voltage drop in output side, why there is a voltage drop across the silicon? which will represent a power dissipation when the input is higher the output.
  2. Can this chip used as pass-through or 100% duty?
