Hi TI partner, I am an ASUS engineer.

My project found TPS16851 OCP limit point is 6.262A, SCP limit point is 2.739A, OCP current setting is 6A, SCP is IOCP*1.5, the test results do not match our design, please help us solve it. OCP SCP TPS1685_CALC_v2_FAN_0.xlsx

How is short circuit test performed? We can probe IMON pin to know actual current through device.

We check IMON voltage SCP, find EN pin voltage is 4.24V, but I found that when SCP protection is in progress, the EN pin voltage is pulled low.

4.42V means, around 25A.

EN is coming from VIN.

This circuit might be making EN low. We should force EN high and then check again.
