Initially, I chose the TPS62913 as my buck converter chip to achieve better output noise performance, converting 15-17V to 3.5V. However, I overlooked one thing: our demo has a very light load (40mA@3.5V) and needs to control losses to reduce heat, meaning a high conversion efficiency is required. The TPS62913 I chose has very low efficiency under light loads, and this efficiency decreases significantly as the input voltage increases. Therefore, I'm now considering temporarily disregarding noise and looking for a chip that is pin-compatible with the TPS62913 and has higher efficiency under light 15V input loads.
