I'm looking for further information or documentation surrounding how dynamic power allocation is accomplished by the dual port PDICs you all offer. I'm a bit confused as to which one to choose, as well as curious as to how certain use cases may be answered by your offerings.
One such use-case:
If the maximum power allocated for both ports is 65W, would the first port begin charging at 65W upon connection? When the second port is also attached and requesting 65W, how does the system handle the request? How does the system handle the request based on how much power is being consumed by the first port? Is there a scenario or opportunity to charge both ports via a shared 50/50 split if accepted by both sink devices, but priority port if either port rejects the resulting 32.5W as being too low to be accepted?
