BQ25618: BQ25618-Host send a I2C command of enter ship mode in the duration of battery FET reset process

Hi Ti engineer,

I have a quesiton on BQ25618 battery FET reset process as described on title blank. Pls kindly help take a look.

What would be happened when host sending a I2C command (enter ship mode) in the duration of T qon_rst lasting period. Does charger Q4 swithed off immediately and wouldn't response battery FET reset process or charger still running battery FET reset process ? 

Above scenario is under VBUS 5V disconnection , only VBAT connected

    在没有Vbus 5V的时候,正常VBAT放电模式下,如果手动拉低QON,charger芯片应该会开始跑battery FET复位进程,到达一定时间后Q4这个FET会关掉后再打开,完成一次FET RESET流程。我的问题就是在手动拉低QON到Q4开始关闭中间这一段时间内,如果主控那面发出要charger进shipmode的I2C命令过来,charger会怎么处理?直接进shipmode就不会再响应battery FET reset进程了吗?还是说先进shipmode后,后面依旧再跑FET RESET进程,到达时间执行Q4 off后再on,完成一个power recycling?

    I am from an ODM corp. Currently we are evaluating a new project of recording pen than need to support 5V boost output. In the past few years , I used BQ25618 in other project and based on the new RFP from our customer , I found that I cannot ignore this potential risk . That's the reason I brought up this case to you.
