1. How fast is the load transient?

2. Can you provide a full schematic?

3. Could you provide a screenshot of the layout of the board?

4. Can you provide a scope shot of the load transient and the output voltage?

A 300mV drop in the output is pretty far outside the expected drop for a load transient for this device as well as for load regulation. An initial guess is that if this is a very fast load transient, there could be a lot of parasitic inductance in the board which could worsen load transients. If the 300mV drop occurs at steady state then there may be a lot of parasitic resistance at the output.
