hello,

i am a student who is looking to build a stackable bms for Formula student , for this i would require 18S ic . my question is that are the parts BQ79718b and BQ79758b can work on the same daisy chain ? also for the actual hardware are they pin to pin compatible ? if not can the schematics for these can be provided?

I have searched for it for you, but did not find any information or cases of using BQ79718B and BQ79758B together.

It is not recommended to use them together.

Regarding the differences, please refer to this comparison link.www.ti.com/.../

Their respective circuit diagrams can be found in the datasheet on their product homepage or in "Design and Development" - "Reference Design"
In addition, we have a reference design library where you can search for the circuit diagram of the product you need, or enter the desired function to search for suitable reference designs---www.ti.com/.../index.html

Hi,

the datasheets in question were denied access to me and only the ordering info is available on the product pages. it would be great if the full datasheet can be given.

Plus there is only a single 18S reference design which is very confusing due to the cross marks on them.

It would be great if i could get access to both datasheets
