We do not have LM5149-Q1 2-phase application schematic,
Take a look at the LM5137-Q1 two-phase controller - this is a much easier implementation with no need for external SYNC.

You can check if "Figure 8-8. Schematic Configured for Single-Output Dual-Phase Operation" and "Figure 9-40. Application Circuit 4 With Two LM5149-Q1 Buck Controllers at 400 kHz" in the datasheet can meet your needs.

Does the LM5137-Q1 dual output mean that each phase Iout is 20A?
Therefore, when designing the dual phase, should Iout = 40A?
My application conditions:
VIN: 24~70V (normal: 48V)
VOUT: 12V
IOUT: 40A (max), full load test estimated 32A
