LM74800EVM-CS: LM74800 reverse current Protect

Hi:

According to the datasheet, the directional current protection detects the voltage between A and C. I just want to confirm, if the LM74800 disconnects pin C from the external MOSFET, will the chip disable the reverse current protection?
