Part Number: TPS23881
We are using the SIFOS PSA3000 to test the TPS23881 with BT Type 3 4-Pair.
During the Power-On Maximum test, the test fails because the TPS23881 changes from SRAM mode to ROM mode.
As shown in the waveform below, during the Class 6 load test, the P54V (VPWR) voltage drops from about 61 V to 33 V, and the current also increases significantly.
Does the TPS23881 have any protection mechanism that could force the device into ROM mode when VPWR drops or when a port current increases?
Could either of these conditions be the main reason for the TPS23881 entering ROM mode?
