fast convergence aka fast scaling, allows for smooth converging of the SOC to zero , trying to ensure SOC is reported as zero when you get to the terminate voltage. Fast scaling starts based on either voltage,i.e term voltage delta or SOC i.e fast scale start SOC. Close to the end of discharge the device is checking for if either or condition is met to start fast resistance scaling.
