When termination condition is hit, there will be an artificial voltage drop across Rimp*Iterm which tricks IC into thinking battery is charged. This depends on your termination current setting and impedance of wires/trace. You can try lowering your termination current to reduce the effect of this extra voltage, so battery is charged more fully, but from your results this seems to be with expected range.
