Senior position located in Shanghai, China with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in power supply design. Working in the Power Products Division of SVA. Must have great communication skills. Must be fluent in English, written and verbal. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment providing exceptional customer services to FAEs and customers.
· Responsibilities
§ Design, build and test of custom power EVM using ICs from the PPD portfolio
§ Mentoring junior engineers and technician
§ Some travel within Asia for customer visits and training
· Must be competent in Switched mode power supply (SMPS) design
o This includes
§ Intimate knowledge of Buck, Boost, buck boost and their derivatives
§ Magnetic Design
§ Loop compensation design
§ Good lab skills for board bring up and debug
§ PC layout techniques for SMPS
§ Knowledge of Altium a huge plus.
