BQ25898D: 有關USB Logo Test中Device Mode BC1.2 Test Fail.

其中有二個測試項目. Data Contact Detect Test 和 DCP Detection Test,

在測試步驗的最後, 都會檢查D+是否回到0.5V以上以判斷是否通過測試, 而目前的IC的Default設定為Hi-Z, 量測到的電壓落在

[2.160,315] - VBUS current drawn = 10mA
[2.160,324] - D+ voltage (0.600V) is above VPD_SRC min.
[3.166,505] - VBUS current drawn = 2mA
[4.176,506] - VBUS current drawn = 779mA
[4.176,517] FAIL: D+ (0.000V) is lower than VPD_SRC min.
[5.186,506] - VBUS current drawn = 960mA
[5.186,517] FAIL: D+ (0.002V) is lower than VPD_SRC min.

我不確定是否是BQ25898D REG01的Default設定所造成的, 是否能改變REG01中的Bit 7~5讓D+ 設定成0.6V, 來通過這二個測項?

修改時REG01中的Bit 4~2 D- 設定是否也須同時改成0.6V?

我該如何通過 BC1.2 Test 的Data Contact Detect Test 和 DCP Detection Test的二個測項?

  • 您好,当检测到USBDCP时,它将在D + / D-上启动可调节的高压适配器握手。当设置MAXC_EN或HVDCP_EN时,设备支持MaxCharge™握手。
    您可以将MAXC_EN 或者HVDCP_EN disable

    我們的BC1.2 Test Fail的項目有2 個, DCD 和 DCP

    其中DCP的Fail原因是檢測過程中D+回到了Hi-Z, 導致測試儀偵測到D+ (0.002V)is lower than VPD_SRC min.

    這題我們試著在检测到USBDCP时, 將REG01的Bit 7~5讓D+ 設定成0.6V, 則可通過此項測試.

    這裡我們還有DCD test的問題, Fail Log如下,

    [1.415,117]     - D+ has risen above 0.5V.

    [1.415,117]     Waiting 1ms then measuring voltage again.

    [1.416,122]     - Voltage measured on D+ is 0.596V.

    [1.416,125]     - D+ went up to 0.5V after 290.5ms of VBUS reaching 0.8V.

    [1.416,126]     FAIL: TDCD_TIMEOUT does not lie in range 0.3s - 0.9s.

    Fail的原因是D+在290.5ms時已經升高於0.5V, 而Spec的要求是300ms~900ms之間才能高於0.5V, 早了10ms而over Spec

    這裡的行為似乎是BQ25898在Detect Charger Type時的行為, Timing似乎不太符合Spec規範,

    請問這題我們應該如何改善, 以通過BC1.2 DCD的測項?
