我用9V的适配器给BQ25606给单节锂电池充电,充电电流设为1.2A,到客户端出现不能充电的情况,实际查下来就是输入端对地短路,这大概可能是什么原因造成的?

我只是担心目前的这种应用容易造成短路,有一个客退品,拆下来看 VBUS, PMID,REGN,BTST,SW 都已经对地短路,我想知道针对这颗芯片,怎样可能产生这样的不良(ESD? 过流?),我可以在设计和应用中避免 这个问题,目前我把充电芯片的输出端直接短路,ESD测试,芯片都没有烧掉,不确定是元件的差异性还是怎样的,盼回复

As responded in the e2e, BQ25606 is 3-A charger. The recommended battery discharge current is no more than 6-A and the recommended input current is no more than 3.2-A. The customer should not apply 20A current on the device which is beyond the recommended and absolute max ratings listed on the d/s. So it is not surprised the device failed. Please advise the customer to make sure the device will not be stressed over the specified limits to avoid device failures.
