现在想用TPS23881做POE供电设计，

1、2019年的datasheet里面，pin-52脚是AUTO，可以通过外部电阻控制工作模式；2020年的datasheet里面，pin-52脚是NC。那现在这个片子是必须要外部接控制器（例如MCU）通过IIC总线来配置寄存器工作吗？

2、结构图里面有ROM，是只需要配置一次，写入ROM里面就可以了吗？
