BQ76952: 芯片电流唤醒问题

我们在使用BQ76952芯片过程中存在如下几个问题:

  1. 在BQ76952EVM测试板上测试,当有电流流过时,AFE可以被唤醒,而在自研的板子中,MCU进入休眠,AFE进入shutdown状态,此时,AFE通过电流是否可以唤醒。根据芯片手册Technical Reference Manual中在SHUTSOWN的模式下通过TS2拉低和LD上的电压高于VwakeonLD,可以退出shutdown的模式,我们有这方面的设计需求,麻烦工程师给出相关的意见和建议,
  2. 还要一个问题是之前提问过的一个问题,我们在研究后仍然没有解决,就是AFE进入了soft SHUTDOWN的状态,跟手册中的描述,依旧没有解决,而且使用通过LD拉高和TS2两种方式都试过,都没有将AFE唤醒,没有通信,请问是否芯片内部有损坏造成这个问题。

    1,Charger detection or TS2 pulldown detection 都可以从shutdown mode恢复到normal mode

    TS2唤醒电路请参考下面内容:

    The 10 k resistor R29 on the BQ76952EVM would simulate a room temperature for TS2 if a shunt is installed on J7 pins 2-3 and the pin is configured as a thermistor temperature sensor.  The 10k pull down will overcome the ROH pull up resistance to wake the part.  If you are waking from a MCU you don't need the 10k.

    2,无法唤醒芯片,您换个芯片看一下是不是芯片损坏造成的。

    The BQ76952 device includes functionality to generate an alarm signal at the ALERT pin, which can be used as an interrupt to a host processor. When used for the alarm function, the pin can be programmed to drive the signal as an active-low or hi-Z signal, an active-high or low signal, or an active-low or high signal (that is, inverted polarity). The alarm function within the BQ76952 device includes a programmable mask, to allow the customer to decide which of many flags or events can trigger an alarm.

    还有如果ALERT PIN CONFIG寄存器配置为0xAA,芯片在运行一段时间后自己回拉低,不是Safety Status B  Safety Status C Safety Status A中的任何一个的告警,但是就是不知道时哪里的问题造成了ALERT引脚被拉低了。麻烦解答一下。

  • 您好,alert pin 拉高说明有错误,当拉高时可以看一下safety status的寄存器有什么异常。

    The ALERT PIN remains high during a fault because the Alarm Status register latches the Safety Status A/B/C bits so you will need to clear these bits. In order to clear these, you can just write back the current value of the Alarm Status register (i.e. if set to 0x5000 just write 0x5000 back to the register to clear the latched bits)  You can also see TRM section 12.2.17 Alarm Status Register for any other combination

  • 配置ALERT PIN 为拉低的,该引脚有一个上拉电阻到3.3V,正常状态下是为拉高的,请问是否是因为FULLSCAN造成的ALERT脚被拉低

  • 您好,full scan不会造成ALERT引脚异常,您看一下有没有其他异常旗标举起。
