BQ28550 not be charged

Hi:

We met bq28550 one stranger symptom that it is easy to be reproduced by EVM as below steps.

Battery discharged to CUV flag be araised under -20C temp..(Not connected any communication.)
Moved this battery pack to the Room temp.;
Relaxed about 30mins;
Did charging failed for this battery pack;(Not connected any communication.)
Connceted EV2300 and observed DSG flag off;
Continue to do charging ,but it's still failed during connected EV2300 tool;

Hi,please give the SBS picture while connected EV2300 on Step 5 Project, I guess the low temperature cause the issue .

一，过放后，CUV旗标举起，然后关闭DSG，是正常的。等你充电到CUV 恢复电压时，CUV保护会消除。

二.从你的SBS图片来看，电池温度是8度左右，电池处在LTCHG模式下，CHG旗标举起，电池是允许充电的。至于你反应的无法充电，请你用万用表量测IC 的CHG PIN，看看实际有没有电压输出。如果依然不能充电，请等电池温度恢复到室温，然后再尝试下；依然不能充电的话，请下Reset指令，看看情况，可能就会说明一些问题。TKS.

目前的问题,BQ28550在常温下,达到CUV条件,可以充电恢复;

但如果RSOC 是50% 或者更高,在零下-20C放电到CUV,此时,充电无法动作.

当然RESET,可以恢复.

是否可以帮忙确认这个现象,在EVM可以看到相同的症状.

你描述的：但如果RSOC 是50% 或者更高,在零下-20C放电到CUV,此时,充电无法动作. 你此时反应的无法充电，是在-20C条件下充电？还是电池已经恢复常温？此时充电时，CHG旗标有没有举起？

在-20C 或在常温下,均无法充电,此时CHG Flag,有举,

你可以参看楼上的画面?

另外,复制这种现象的条件,就是RSOC在50%以上,在-20C放电,很容易复制出来.

I suspected that it is related to MOSFET's Rds.
