How to close "Hardware-Based Protection" detect?

Hi,

100mV is the max the gauge can be set to for this protection, you would have to use a lower sense resistor in order to support applications with over 100A discharges.

I understand. We will change a lower sense resistor to close the issue.

But..Why can the maximum value of ASCDx reach -200mV?

Hi,

The ASCD hardware overcurrent protections occur faster than the overload (AOLD). The gauge cannot support continuous currents over 100mV (100A with 1mOhm sense resistor) because AOLD maximum setting is 100mV.
