LP87702: will it work with 5V power supply

Part Number: LP87702

LP87702D  works normally when  supply voltage level 3.3V,But when raise up supply voltage level to 4.3V,the Output is disabled;

the technical documents 8.1:

The LP87702-Q1 is a high-efficiency, high-performance power supply IC with two step-down DC/DC converters
(Buck0 and Buck1) and boost converter for automotive and industrial applications. The input voltage range is
from 2.8 V to 5.5 V. The typical application input voltage levels are 3.3 V and 5 V. VANA OVP is set to 4.3 V
(typical) with 3.3 V input and boost enabled. The boost can be used as a load switch and VANA OVP is set to 5.8
V (typical) when input voltage is 5 V. VANA OVP is selected in OTP by VANA_OVP_SEL and is a fixed factory
setting. 表 8-1 lists the output characteristics of the various converters.

if I use supply voltage level with 5V,What should I do?

  • Hi

        VANA OVP is set to 4.3 V(typical) with 3.3 V input and boost enabled.

       VANAOVP is selected in OTP by VANA_OVP_SEL and is a fixed factory setting(所以如果要设置5.8V保护,需要通过程序配置的VANA_OVP_SEL = 0)
