Hi,
Thanks for your time.
I tested LMG2100 today (buck converter, 400kHz, 6.8uH), using MSPM0Gxxxx as controller.
The program's logic is like this: I judge the input voltage, when it is above 16.5V, duty begins soft start until it is 60%, if the input voltage is below 16.5V, the duty is always 5%. So when i start to increase the input voltage from 12V to 17V, the duty changes a lot (not fixed i think) and inductor have some noise when the voltage hits 17V (the input voltage source was actually clamped to about 16.4V), the input voltage sample value also changes to about 800(judge value).
But when i changed the final duty of soft start to 25%, this phenomenon will not happen.
Then i give the pwm a fixed duty 60%, when the output power is increased to about 60W, the output and sample value are abnormal again.
Can you please tell me why is this happening? I tested the program when GaN is not soldered, it works well.
Thanks!
