BQ34Z100-G1: SOC will jump up and down during discharging.

8S1P battery,Battery HP 904290-5104mAh , Chem ID7293, design capacity 5000mAh.

During discharge with 12.5A, we found the SOC will drop 2% around SOC 29% , SOC will rise 1% around SOC14%. that looks unreasonable for SOC Impedance tracking technique.

  • 您好,如果用的是横流放电建议将load mode 设置0,应根据电池所承受的负载类型来选择负载模式。如果电池以恒定电流放电,则 Load Mode  = 0(电流模型)。如果电流随着电池放电而变化,则 Load Mode  = 1(功率模型)。

    Load Select Values 

    0 uses the previous discharge cycle to estimate SOC 

    1 uses current discharge cycle to estimate SOC

    2 uses AverageCurrent() 

    4 C/5 discharge rate

    6 specified discharge rate

    load select 可以选0或者1

    再验证一下SOC是否跳变。

  • 试了Load Mode  = 0,SOC也是会有跳变。当前测试用恒流,NPD后阶段会用整机(马达)进行验证,那是不是要改成LOAD=1再进行测试?

    我看TR文件(bq34z100-G1 Technical Reference Manual)有如下描述,看起来跟要解决的问题相试,是指放电过程中使SOC更平滑,但是29页又说只适用于RELAX MODE,所以请问怎么配置和应用这个功能?也许可以解决这个问题。

  • 您好,smooth使能会有relax 模式和正常充放电模式,就是上面红框中的内容。建议您将smooth 使能以后试一下是否有改善。
