Recently i use 74800 design for 24V battery system and start to select appropriate TVS for the enterance of the circuit.
I don't understand why choose TVS+ not based on clamp volatge instead of using breadown voltage which should be higher than 48-V jump start voltage, less than the absolute
maximum ratings of anode and enable pin of LM7480x-Q1 (70 V) and should withstand 65-V suppressed load
dump.
Wether we can choose one TVS+ for clamp voltage less than jump start then we can protest the backward circuit?
