Guys
I built a flyback converter with LM5025, input is 24V DC and output is 28V DC. Lately, we've found a short circuit fault caused by soldering between PIN 6 and PIN7 of LM5025. The PIN6 is REF and PIN7 is Vcc. With the short circuit, the converter worked over 2 month before the LM5025 totally burned(maybe overcurrent). The main MOSFET of OUT A was also burned too. Could you guys tip me why short circuit between PIN6 and PIN7 of LM5025 can cause LM5025 burned and why it can still worked over 2 month before burned.
Cheers
