How can the internal MOSFET switching and driving losses of the LM5160A be estimated, or where are they specified in the datasheet?

Hi
The RDS has already been provided in the data sheet(www.ti.com/.../lm5160a.pdf), and combined with the Power Dissipated in the MOSFET chapter in the following Application Report for calculation.
Hi
You can calculate the junction temperature according to the data sheet.
The overheating of the chip may be due to poor heat dissipation design, inaccurate load current evaluation, low efficiency of the switching power supply, and high MOSFET losses
If you calculate that the temperature of the chip exceeds the junction temperature, it may be a design issue.
You can use webench to redesign your circuit
If the temperature still exceeds the standard, it is recommended to use TI's evaluation board for testing first.
