Hi:
BQ76972 chip is used to send the start balance command through MCU to make BQ chip start balance. However, the test found that after the equalization was turned on, the voltage dropped very slowly.
The chip manual explains that the cell balance is temporarily turned off when sampling, which may cause the efficiency of the equalization to slow down. We have switched the sampling speed at equalization to one eighth, but the voltage is still not changing fast enough.
We need to ship in large quantities, and we need to test whether the balancing function is normally available during production, and the detection time of each board is within one minute.
Is there a way to disable sampling during equalization, or is there another feasible way to make it clear at the factory inspection that the equalization function is available?
