TPS53667: How to set the maximum number of phases

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have currently provided you with the schematic attachment of the TPS53667RTAR and 6 CSD95490Q5MCs, and we are aiming to implement the buck output of a 6-phase interleaved parallel buck circuit, but while editing using the Fusion Design Online software, we would like to select the 6-phase phase-shifted output, but we will get a popup of the ‘wrote Six Phase [0x05] to the device and it was ACKed, but a write verification read back returned One Phase [0x00]’. To make sure if the TPS53667RTAR chip has been set up for 6 phase output, if it has not been set up successfully, what is the reason for the failure.

    Can you confirm whether these resistors are mounted for respective phases . Ideally If we connect CSP to V3R3 it will disable the CSP of that phase and We cant change no of phase through software as that phase may be shorted to V3R3.

    Unmounting those resistors should help.

    Thank you very much for your answer, you are really our saviour and genius hardware expert, we have successfully set up the 6-phase PWM after listening to your advice, but we have a new problem subsequently, we send it to you in the actual order as a reference.
    (1) We set up 6-phase, Imax 20A in Fusion Design Online
    (2) The output voltage can be stabilised at about 1V when no electronic load is added.
    (3) After adding an electronic load (the electronic load is set to a constant current of 1A), the output voltage is pulled down to 0V.
    (4) The output current value is very small, and the power detected from the electronic load is negative.
    (5) Subsequently, no PWM is detected on the first phase, but PWM is detected on all other phases.
    What do you think might be the problem and how can I make the output current larger?
