Non-Posted transactions are ones where the requester expects to receive a completion Transaction Layer Packet (TLP) from the device completing the request.
Posted transactions are ones where the requester does not expect to and will not receive a completion Transaction Layer Packet (TLP). If the write completer encounters an error, the requester will not know about it.
