C6678 EMIF16 能否驱动两片 Virtex7 FPGA

   各位，你好！

         我在做一个方案，需要两片Xilinx Virtex7 690T +1片C6678。两片FPGA与6678之间通过EMIF16相连，也就是说我在6678的EMIF16总线上挂了两片Virtex7 690T作为负载。两种芯片IO电压均为1.8V.

         阅读6678手册时发现，EMIF16所使用的LVCOMS(1.8V)管脚只支持6mA输出电流。

         我这里有个疑问：

                  6678的驱动能力能否同时驱动两片FPGA？如果能够驱动，该使用什么样的拓扑结构才能使信号完整性最好？

         不知道各位有没有遇到过这种案例，望不吝赐教，万分感谢！！！

    Hi Balder,

                  EMIF接口是支持多片连接的，至于6mA是否能驱动2片Xilinx Virtex7 690T，建议您再咨询一下FPGA。

                 关于拓扑结构，您最好用IBIS模型仿真一下，下面是硬件设计手册中的相关内容：

    To determine the optimum value, simulations using the IBIS models should be performed to check for signal integrity and AC timings. Significant signal degradation can occur when multiple devices are connected on the EMIF16. Simulations are the best mechanism for determining the best physical topologies and the highest frequency obtainable with that topology.
