TMS320 c6713的HPI的线路连接于应用

您好：

1，TMS320 c6713开发板DSK（ti）按图用USB线连接主机电脑；那么HPI接口拿来干什么用？查看结构图，没看懂；HPI什么时候用？如果要板载FPGA，要用HPI吗？或者加入MCU/单片机呢？

2，目前开发一款信号处理板子用到DSP，要与主机用网口通信，不是USB，需要使用HPI吗，该如何设计来于DSP通信？谢谢！
