Hi, We have a customer want to use AM64x for a profinet device application.

I understand 08.06 is going to release in April.

I want to ask following question:

1. Will TI continue support the old stack in 08.03 version? We worried it has bugs so TI make the transition? 

2. Will the new version in 08.06 version is a production ready stack?

    Existing Plan: 08.03 version stack isn't supported by TI for production.

    Existing Plan: 08.06 version stack will be with Profinet RT functionality but requires external DDR. Is an alpha release, not meant for production. And won't be part of public SDK.

    Still we suggest to wait for SDK 8.6 release notes for official confirmation / statement.

    Our customer want to know if TI has a plan to release a production ready profinet stack in the future? a estimation is OK.

    We will only release to dev kit license owners. Timeline will be clear only post MCUSDK 8.6 release.
