Hi, We have a customer want to use AM64x for a profinet device application.

and from the 08.06 release note:

the profinet stack example is still missing just like 08.05.

Could you update the plan and how customer can evaluate profinet device feature on AM64x?

SDK文档里有大概时间的说明。
TI is transitioning to a new Profinet stack. Profinet RT will be available by end of 2022. Profinet IRT will be available in Q2 of 2023.

Hello, Shine, Thanks for your help. I asked the same question in March, but 08.06 did not include the example. The March post:

And our customer needs RT, so it should have been available last year according to the statement you quoted. I think the plan needs an update since the milestone has passed.

Current estimate for SDK availability is August for RT, 1Q24 for IRT. We can look at delivering an earlier drop of RT as a patch on top of SDK 8.6
