linux为什么打补丁回有时部分不成功

我的linux版本为linux-3.2.0，现在我想把版本升级到linux-3.2.21，于是下载了一个patch-3.2.21的内核补丁，但是当我在linux目录下打补丁（sudo patch -p1 < ../patch-3.2.21）后总是发现补丁总有部分代码无法争取写入到内核源码里面，请问这是什么原因？
