CCS V5 不能创建C5416工程。

ccs v5.2支持，这个网页开始处说的就是5.2版本。

你是不是在安装CCS的时候忘了勾选安装C5400编译器了？到C:\ti\ccsv5\tools\compiler看一下有没有C5400 compiler?
我在ccs5.2里面创建c5416的工程，提示 No build-tools are currently installed for this device-family.
是不是还需要安装类似器件库的软件。
安装路径下的确是没有c5400 compiler ，但我重新安装时里面并没有勾选C5400编译器这个选项。安装包应该没问题啊，我创建的c6748工程都好着呢，有没有单独的c5400 compiler 文件？
应该是你安装的时候没有勾选支持C5000系列。你可以按照下面的wiki网站安装一下C5400 compiler。http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Installation_and_Selection#CCSv5
