Part Number: IWRL1432BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWRL1432, TIDEP-01034, IWRL1432
Hi,
I have downloaded the design files from TIDEP-01034 (Entry-level blind spot detection reference design using AWRL1432) and I am planning to develop a custom PCB board based on this reference design using the IWRL1432 chip.
However, I noticed that only Gerber files are provided, and no native PCB design files (e.g., PADS .pcb or equivalent EDA format) are included.
The reason I am requesting the native PCB file is:
When re-drawing the antenna pattern from the Gerber files in a PCB design tool, dimensional tolerances are inevitably introduced during the re-creation process. Since this design operates at 77GHz (wavelength ~3.9mm), even sub-millimeter dimensional errors can significantly degrade RF and antenna performance. To preserve the exact antenna geometry as designed and validated by TI, I would like to use the original native PCB file directly.
Could you please share the native PCB design file, or let me know if there is an alternative way to obtain exact antenna dimensions without manually re-drawing from Gerber?
Thank you.
