IWRL6432BOOST: [IWRL6432BOOST] Significant SNR drop at low frequencies

Hi TI Team,

We are currently conducting SNR tests on the IWRL6432BOOST using a corner reflector placed at a distance of 1 meter.

Based on the results, we observed that the SNR at lower frequencies is significantly lower compared to other frequencies. Could you please advise if this is due to software (SW) calibration, or if there might be other factors causing this drop?

Hi，

The tuning of the antenna's CF of the IWRL6432BOOST is at 60.5 GHz higher frequency and the BW doesn't fully incorporate 57 GHz. For this reason, the gain rolls off.

This is known performance and is demonstrated on the antenna reference designs page of the radar toolbox.
