OPT3007: Inquiry regarding acceptable package defect criteria for OPT3007

Part Number: OPT3007

Dear TI Support Team,
We are currently using the OPT3007 ambient light sensor in our product. During the incoming quality inspection, we observed some units with visible package defects (almost 10%,please refer to the attached microscope images).

Specifically, we noticed damage/cracks on the package surface. We have performed functional tests on these units, and they all passed the functional verification.
Could you please clarify the official package quality standards or the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) for this device? We need to understand:

1. What kind of package defects are considered acceptable? We need a detailed and clear standard

2. Is there a specific dimension or location of damage (e.g., chipping, cracking) that would classify the part as rejected?

We look forward to your guidance to ensure our quality control aligns with TI's specifications.
Best regards,
[Woot/EVEN]
