Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC1614
Hi, TI.
Thanks for your product of LDC1614EVM. It is a good evaluation tool for inductive sensing.
Now, I am applying for medical applications.
I have some questions as below:
I used the 0.9%saline, human finger to do a simple move-in and move-out test and then obtained the positive tone value for inductance measurement.
Is it correct for positive tone for measured inductance value during move-in our target (0.9%saline or human finger)? I
Is it make sense with inductive sensing? like the metal, the measured inductance tone will be down that makes sense due to eddy current damping.
But in slight conductive objects (such as 0.9% saline/ Human finger) that do not like the metal detection?
I obtained the opposite sign of the measurement profile in inductance measurement.

Thank you
