AWR2944: Can the frame clock of LVDS be removed?

Question 1: The LVDS interface has two differential clock pairs - one is the synchronous clock and the other is the frame clock. What functions do these clocks serve respectively, and can I remove one of them (such as the frame clock) entirely?

Question 2: Many devices with LVDS output interfaces can be configured as CSI2 interfaces, as they are quite similar. Can the LVDS output of the 2944 also be configured as a MIPI CSI2 output interface?
