Hello teams:

           I met a problem that when use TAS6584, we use the start-up script in the datasheet, when wanted to test frequency response, we found that the lower frequency response which is under 1kHz is very high, it is above 5dB.we used 1 kHz 0dB sine wave as the reference. we checked the DSP DSP audio source, it didn't do any filtering. and the DSP audio source used on TAS6424 perfect very well,when the dsp

audio source used on tas6424 its frequency response is under 0.5dB from 20Hz to 20kHz.

          Is there any problem that in the register config of startup script of the TAS6584? what I can I do to make the response better?

    检查下测试条件是否没有使用LC滤波器和集成的补偿,因为输出LC滤波器可能对频率响应线性产生不必要的影响,从而导致频率下降/峰值。

  • Amy Luo您好,针对以上问题,是我的私人账号提问的,然后用公司邮箱注册了账号之后,想FAE获取了PPC3 GUI工具,通过调试发现,只要在原来的指令前面加一条复位tas6584寄存器的命令(w c0 01 10)就能使得频响在20Hz~20kHz比较好,大约1.5dB(绝对值)以内,我想请问,为什么不加这条复位指令,频响就比较差呢,还有当初规格书里面不放这条指令是存在什么风险嘛?请帮忙解答,谢谢!

  • 使用start-up script脚本文件的前提条件是上电顺序满足规格要求,应该是您的设备上电顺序不满足要求造成的。

    我又重新测试了一下上电时序,如下:请问这个时序是否满足要求,从规格书来看,上电时序是满足要求的吧

  • 建议您读一下寄存器 Power_Fault_Mem Register (Address = 0x86) 看是否有报错?因为看波形DVDD稳定时VBAT还没稳定;

    测量下这里满足4ms吗?至少是4ms

  • hello Amy,通过读取0X86寄存器里面的值,第一次读出来的值是0x80,等了大概3s钟,第二次读出来是0x00;这个对频响有影响吗?另外一个,PD-STBY的间隔时间在10ms左右,大于4ms的

    第一次读0X86寄存器的值是0x80,应该是正常的,因为它是latched寄存器所以第二次读是00;

    您是否有办法将VBAT/PVDD供电电压在DVDD稳定之前稳定?我不太确定是不是这里的问题。同时您可以也读下 0x80寄存器吗
