请教一个串联高精度电阻实现直流电流采样的问题

如上图我通过一个高精度电阻,同流电流流经电阻两端的压差来检测电流。不是很明白:

①电流是1A,电阻是1Ω,G=1,提取压差是1V

②电阻是0.25Ω,G=4流过1A时提取的压差同样是1V。

无论①和②初始精度多么好,系统上都要串联一个8位半高精度万用表,通过万用表的电流读数和提取电路提取的电流值对比,来校准采样电阻和提取电路的误差,这种情况下:

①和②提取的电压都一样,但是第②中方法电阻的压差小,损耗也小一点,那方案①的优势是什么呢?

希望大神能指点一下。
