TCA9543A: TCA9543A used in different pull high power domain

Part Number: TCA9543A

Due to SoC's IO support 1.8V only, but 2 BATs are support 3.3V with the same I2C address so that we need adding a TCA9543A between SoC and 2 batteries,

want to confirm if that can be designed as below:

Please help to confirm if these pull high power domain is workable. (1.8V and 3.3V)

Note, we don’t use INT and RST signals.

Hi,

After looking at the schematic in order to have the TCA9542A act as a voltage translator the lowest bus voltage is 1.8V(SoC) so the supply voltage should be 1.8V(VCC).

Hi,

We recommend to connect the RESET to VCC and INT to Vdpu. So yes, when ever you connect the pull up to the VCC/Vdpu voltage used.
