The only care about for which flash sector to use on a fresh device, is that the flash entry point for flash boot is address 0x33 FFF6, which is in sector A. Other than that, any sector can be used to store code or data.

Finally, a fresh device from TI comes erased from the factory. So for initial programming there is no need to do an erase operation; only a program operation is needed. This can save time on first programming for the customer.
