i use spi communication between MCU and drv8434s, but the MCU do not have enough IO , so i would like the nscs pin to connect to ground to make the drv8434s is always selected( drv8434 is the only one device to communicate with MCU through SPI), but in drv8434s datasheet, i found the below description , does this means i need to pull nscs pin high during the communication? if i keep it low, the spi communication will failed?

It is not possible to simply hold nSCS low. It functions as a "frame" select signal in addition to chip select.
If SPI is an issue, we suggest you consider the DRV8434 or DRV8434A device.
