Hi，as shown in the figure，lab 1 to 4 are all aimed at verifying the PFC mode.

However, why did lab 1 and 2 use DC as the input, rather than AC voltage?

Hi,

Not exactly. Lab1 and Lab2 are with DC input. This is part of step by step procedure primarily to verify the boost operation in open loop mode. And, one can design their compensator with DC input as mentioned in Lab 2 of design guide.

But if some one is running a fully tested HW with out making any changes to the software available in DPSDK may start with Lab3 with AC input.
