When you say "all discharge activity" do you mean the device is on and accumulating at all times? This gauge is designed to be off most of the time with SOH or EOS, and even ACC mode, in accumulator mode it is more designed to accumulate during a pulse load, like RF transmit, then the host adds any calculated self discharge to whatever the gauge accumulates. If you leave the accumulator running for long period or all the time the part will consume a lot of current since we run a MCU.
