The BQ24073 device features Input-bassed dynamic power management (Vin-DPM), 28-V Input rating with OVP, Integrated Dynamic Power Path Management (DPPM), Reverse current protection, short-circuit protection, and thermal protection.
For voltage at the input, the absolute maximum rating is from -0.3 to 28V. Stresses beyond this voltage may cause permanent damage to the device.
